Stephanie Bavaro lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband, three daughters, and two gay cats. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

She published her first piece, "Ode To a Toad" in Cricket magazine at the age of nine.  Steph has been awarded Honorable Mention for the Lorain Hemingway International Short Story competition as well as "Writer's Works" short story competition, and has published a few romance stories...most notably "Victoria's Dirty Little Secret...Finding Love Through Lingerie"  ....yes, people, a cult classic.

On another creative level she rocks out with her band as a lead singer, having recently completed "The Outerbelt Tour: Summer 2005."...she and CDU have hit Dublin, Westerville, and gasp...even Columbus Proper!

She is professionally adequate in the world of advertising and marketing...at this time Steph currently is working at a copywriter for an ingenious, liberated ad agency, crafting uplifting messages about various fatal illnesses.

She is also  busily crafting her second book,--working title NEW YEAR'S REVOLUTION-- which takes place in two of her favorite places: Kelleys Island. a little gem of an island in Lake Erie, and the incomparable LA..... this story shows how Regan Gallagher breaks free from being kept down by the man and gets her groove on.

And now, an added bonus since music is such a part of my life, I am including: Steph's Favorite Songs of All Time (subject to change). I have tried to include a vast composite of cross-generational, cross-decade classics.
